SlowGun: Nostalgie, Progressive, Sub Pop

I came across SlowGun yesterday. I was browsing the net searching for cool stuff and, as usual, I ended up on a Japanese website.

It is very frustrating for Japan lovers like me, not to speak the language! I had a hard time finding information in English about this brand.

SlowGun was founded in 1998 by the designer Manabu Kobayashi. He graduated from Bunka Fashion College and, after a long experience as designer in France, he worked in a jeans factory in Okayama.

“Nostalgic and cutting age” is SlowGun’s concept. Manabu finds inspiration from the 60’s – 70’s movies and music and he applies it to his playful designs.

The Fall15 collection is amazing, below some of my favorite looks.

I hope you are curious enough to check out the company web site. It is worth it!
