Old Town: plain style made it simple…nostalgic British workwear

Norfolk is a county located in East Anglia, an area in the East of England. It is where Will Brown and Marie Willey, the founders of Old Town, have their small workshop. They could have not chosen a better spot for their unique, understated, and very British label. Old Town is in fact specialized in British workwear: all their clothes are faithfully inspired by classic and traditional 20th-century British working garments.

I came across this brand almost a month ago and I immediately fell in love with it. There is such an integrity and love in what Will and Marie do.

Old Town offers a tight range of classic workwear pieces, which are, once you have placed the order, individually cut and sewn by local artisans before being mailed to you (the process takes about 4-6 weeks). They produce only a limited number of garments per week, using only durable fabrics such as British cottons, woollens and linens.

For men there are high-rise trousers, utility jackets and waistcoats. For women, retro printed dresses and wide-legged trousers, to name a few.

I strongly urge you to check out their website and explore their special, unique, little world. As far as I am concerned, I will definitely plan a trip to Norfolk to visit the shop and order my beautiful, heritage, high waisted pants.
