Tired of seeing the same things in this globalized fashion world? If so, unfortunately it is necessary to get on a plane and be ready to face a long journey. Direction…Tokyo Japan. There are certain stores worth traveling for, and this is one of them.
It is not easy to describe the style of this brand. The first adjective that comes to my mind is unique. By the way I am talking about Kapital.
Kapital takes its name from the city of Kojima, which has become known as the “Denim Capital” of Japan. Founded in 1984, the company originally focused exclusively on denim, borrowing heritage production techniques from vintage American workwear. Now offers superior denim as well as a full range of products.
This is me in one of their stores in Tokyo. I must have spent there 2 o 3 hours, trying to find something to fit me, as Japanese sizes are notoriously very small for Europeans!
Check out their website down below. Unfortunately they don’t ship oversea. I have sent an email and asked if they can make an exception and somehow ship me this back pack…I hope so…otherwise I might need to go back to Tokyo! Is any of you by any chance going?
