Koma and his team opened Day Child store in 2015.
I came across this store on Instagram, caught by its amazing offer of vintage goods.
The store, recently opened, is located in Hong Kong.
Koma explained to me that he has been dealing with vintage clothing for quite a long time. He first run his business through Facebook, Instagram and Etsy.
After gathering a solid base of faithful customers in love with vintage and American heritage, he decided to open a proper store in May 2015. The demand of vintage clothes has, in fact, grown fast in Hong Kong over the past few years.
All the products come from Japan, US and Taiwan, countries where Koma and his team go frequently to find the unique and special pieces they offer in the store.
Besides vintage clothing, Koma collects American junk goods (such as Peanuts characters) and home antiques. The store sells also a wide range of handmade accessories.
If you are looking for a cool vintage chino or an Ivy sweater, check out the links down below. Koma and his team ship everywhere. If you are interested in something, write them a message, they will get back to you with prices and availability.
I warn you though: it is not going to be easy to choose. The store is a paradise if you are into vintage clothing, like me.
If you have planned to be in Hong Kong, below the store address.
Room 4B2, 4/F, Ho King Commercial Building, No. 2-16 Fa Yuen Street, Mong Kok, Kowloon, Hong Kong
I wish Koma and his team all the best and I hope to be able to visit soon their amazing store!
